Authentic Autographed Stevie Ray Vaughan Dress ShirtThis is an authentic autographed stevie ray vaughan dress shirt. It is in a black frame with a black mat along with a picture of stevie ray vaughan nad a name plate. The singature reads take care friends stevie ray vaughan '90. (this is also the yera that he died) it is written across the breast of the shirt crossing over the pocket in gold colored pen. We are told that this is a shirt from his wardrobe and that it was signed for someone he knew. This is a very rare find! We purchased this shirt from an estate sale and took it to legends in time memorabillia to have it authenticated. Turns out that it had been stolen from the place that we took it to 8 years ago. The police then bceame involved and held the shirt as it was legally property of the insurance company that had paid it out 8 years ago. This went on for several months but as the police investigation continued they did not have muhc help from the insurance company. When the investigation closed they concluded that the shirt did belong to us as we bought it legally and the insurance company had already washed their hands of it so the shirt was returned to us. Legends in time being very nice people and holding us no bad will certified the authenticity and gave us some history on this shirt. The frame of this shirt cost over $400 at the time it was made. The shirt does come with the certificate of authenticity. There is a reserve on this shirt, but it is however under the cost that it was appraised at 8 years ago. If this shirt does meet the reserve we will pay for the shipping, and we will have it professionally packaged.
