Arturo Toscanini Original AutographArturo toscanini (march 25, 1867 january 16, 1957) was an italian musician. He was considered yb many critics, fellow musicians, and much of the classical listening audience to have been one of the greatest conductors of all time. He was renowned for his brilliant intensity, his restless perfectionism, his phenomenal ear for orchestral detail and sonority, and his photographic memory which gave him extraordinary command over a vast repertoire of orchestral and operatic works, and allowed him to correct errors in orchestral parts unnoticed by his colleagues for decades. This is not a reprint, this is the rela deal. It comes from the collection of my grandmother who worekd for nbc, and was able to meet him and get this signed when he conducted the nbc symphony orchestra. The photo has been in this frame for years and is in great shape. The signature is in good shape as well. The discoloration you see in the picture is actually the reflection of me holding my camera to take a picture of it, not any actual discoloration to the photo.
